Management Company MLP Supported Conference: Logistics of St. Petersburg's Future

On March 30, 2017, the management company MLP was a partner for the second year in a row in sponsoring the conference Logistics of St. Petersburg's Future. The conference was one of the key events for the end of 2017's first quarter. 

Currently, the total amount of quality listings in St. Petersburg is 1,529,800 sq. km, 369,400 sq. km of which is grade-B, and 1,160,400 of which is grade-A. If we examine the geography of the potential warehouse market at the beginning of 2017, it becomes clear that around 55% of the listings are concentrated in the southern part of the city, 21% in the north, 17% in the east, and 7% in the city's center. This data was provided by Margarita Chugueva, the Director of the Department of Warehouse and Industrial Real Estate for the company East Real.

This conference was organized as part of the Logistics of the Future brand, a series of federal regional events that covers 15 cities in Russia, including Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kazan, and others. The event was organized by the company Ekbpromo and united more than 80 top managers and specialists from logistical, industrial, and retail companies in the North-West region.

Experts agreed that the northern capital's market for warehouse real estate has high potential. There are a number of ways to increase the market's capacity, and current demand is pushing for quality growth by incorporating modern and innovative instruments.
