New Tenant in Severnoe Domodedovo Warehouse Complex

The world leader in tire manufacturing—Bridgestone Corporation—has signed a lease for 32,000 square meters of grade A warehouse space at the Severnoe Domodedovo Warehouse Complex.

Eriskhan Kurazov, the Director General of MLP Management Company, commented: “The fact that the world leader in tire manufacturing specifically choose our facilities as a distribution center in Russia is to us high praise of Severnoe Domodedovo Warehouse Complex’s advantages. It should be noted that this isn’t the first time Bridgestone has encountered Severnoe Domodedovo. As it turns out, a logistical operator had earlier rented 33,000 square meters to store Bridgestone’s products, so in this way, a total area of 65,000 square meters at the Severnoe Domodedovo Warehouse Complex is being used to store products for this company.”

Bridgestone, the world leader in tire manufacturing, was founded in 1931 in Japan. Eighty percent of Bridgestone’s business is comprised of producing and selling tires for passenger cars, trucks, buses, commercial transport, airplanes, motorcycles, and construction, mining, and agricultural machinery. The remaining 20% is composed of producing and selling conveyer belts, tubing, seats for cars, insolated rubber goods, and sporting accessories. The company has a huge production capacity: 178 factories in 25 counties around the world, five technical centers in four countries, and ten testing sites in eight countries.
