NEW TENANT IN THE WAREHOUSE COMPLEX PODOLSK

The manufacturer and distributor of children's toys, Jambo, signed a 3-year lease on a 6,500 square meters warehouse facility.

June 08, 2016, Moscow: The MLP Management company announced the signing of a lease between the warehouse complex Podolsk and the company Jambo. The manufacturer and distributor of children's toys leased a 6,500 square meters warehouse facility for a 3-year period.

Jambo specializes in the development, manufacturing and wholesale of toys, bicycles and sports equipment for children. The company's network of affiliates operates in multiple countries including Russia, Belarus, Kazakstan and other foreign countries. Sales representatives of the company are operating in more than 30 regions of Russia. Its direct contracts with factories in China and Russia make it possible for Jambo to manufacture products under its own brand, including those subject to licensing (www.jumbo-toys.ru).

Jambo's director of logistics, Konstantin Evtushenko comments on the deal: ‘Previously, our company occupied a few category B warehouses with a combined square of 5,700 square meters. We decided that it was necessary for us to consolidate our storage facilities and also to increase the amount of space, which, as we saw it, should improve the effectiveness of our company's logistics operations. Accordingly, we were searching for space in a class A warehouse complex. The warehouse complex Podolsk fit our needs because of its convenient location.’

The warehouse complex Podolsk is a large class A logistics facility located in the southern part of the Moscow region. The facility is managed by the leading company in Russia's warehouse real estate market – the MLP management company. The head of the Department of tenant relations for MC MLP, Ilya Pronichkin, says, ‘I am pleased that this young fast-growing company was added to our pool of tenants – a company in which the top management makes quick, but at the same time, balanced and professional decisions. The coherent actions of its different departments allowed them to move into the warehouse, in my opinion, in the shortest possible time. In addition, we have agreed that by the end of the summer they would rent an additional 1,500 square meters, which in September will bring Jumbo's total warehouse space in the Podolsk complex to 8,000 square meters.’
