A new tenant in the Warehouse Complex Leningradskiy Terminal

The city of Moscow: Russian distribution company VELES Group signed a long-term contract of lease for 3,905 sq.m in the warehouses located in the Warehouse Complex Leningradskiy Terminal.

The lease contract was signed for the term of 6 years. Previously, the VELES Group used to rent 15,823 sq.m in the warehouses, located in the South of Moscow Region.

Both deals were concluded with the participation of CBRE. Anton Alyabyev, Director of Warehouse & Industrial Department at CBRE, said:

“Today, in the market of warehouse space, the rental rates have declined significantly, so it is a good period for the landlords to sign lease contracts on optimal terms and conditions. It is very valuable for us, that after having signed the contract of lease in the South of Moscow Region, the VELES group came back to us with a request to find a warehouse to service the North direction. In the shortest period of time, we managed to sign a lease contract for the Warehouse Complex  Leningradsky Terminal on mutually beneficial conditions for the both parties. For CBRE, it is very important when the cooperation goes beyond a single deal and serves as the beginning of a long-term partnership.”

The VELES Group has a well-developed distribution network in the city of Moscow, Moscow Region and Central Russia. The company provides a full range of distribution and logistics services at a high professional level. The warehouse spaces in the warehouse complex in the Chekhov District and in the Warehouse Complex  Leningradskiy Terminal are the most suitable to the requirements of VELES Group for the premises for storing alcohol products. The optimal geographic location of these warehouses makes it possible to arrange the routes for trade representatives and shipping of goods to the customers of VELES Group in a quality manner.

Alexey Yambarshev, Director General of Veles Sever LLC, commented on the deal: “It was important for us to rent high-quality Class A facilities corresponding to the licensing requirements for storing alcohol products. The selection of facilities was strictly determined by the location, thus each of the leased warehouses was supposed to form the basis for arranging the logistics in a particular area of Moscow and Moscow Region. With the help of partners from CBRE, we have rented the warehouse spaces on Simferopolskoe highway and Leningradskoe highway, and shortly we shall arrange the delivery of products to our customers therefrom.”

Gleb Belavin, Deputy Director General for Tenants Interaction at MLP Management Company, commented on the deal: “For us this deal became one of the most comfortable: on the one hand, it is made on the conditions beneficial for us, on the other hand, the negotiations did not take much time, all issues were resolved promptly. In my opinion, mostly it was possible due to the high level of professionalism of the CBRE employees, who did not only managed to attract to our warehouse complex such a perspective tenant as VELES Group in the current market situation, but also ensured comfortable negotiating process.”
