Petrovich began issuing goods in one minute
The new service for issuing online orders from the Petrovich company is designed to save customers' time and free them from “cart slavery.”
The domestic DIY-retailer Petrovich has launched a new format for issuing goods – Click&Collect, in which an order collected in an online store can be received at a retail point of sale in one minute.
All the buyer needs to do is to collect items in the basket, pay for the purchase on the Petrovich.ru website or in the app, choose the appropriate method of receipt and a shopping center convenient for visiting – in half an hour from the moment of payment, the order will be collected and ready. It can be picked up in a separate pick-up area, without visiting a store or warehouse. The process will take less than a minute.
Igor Kolynin, Marketing Director of STD Petrovich, commented: “We reimagined Click&Collect by analyzing our customers’ Customer Journey. Today, all services on the market offer to receive orders the next day at best. But this format is not suitable for building materials – they are often required immediately.
Until recently, the buyer had only a single alternative to get the goods quickly: either visit a store with a cart, which usually takes at least half an hour, or, as with Petrovich, go directly to the warehouse.
However, we managed to offer a completely new way of receiving goods – now you can place an order, pay for it right before leaving home or even on the way, and pick it up in just one minute.
We have already conducted pilot testing, which showed that customers like our service. It helps to save a person time: everything that is needed can be put into an online basket, for example, during lunch, and on the way home or to the dacha you can instantly get building materials. For the DIY industry, this is a breakthrough. I believe that the service will help attract new customers and free them from ‘cart slavery’.
The service can be used in shopping centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg; the addresses of the stores can be found on the Petrovich.ru website.
