THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY PULSE RENTED 31,700 SQ.M IN THE WAREHOUSE COMPLEX LENINGRADSKY TERMINAL
The city of Moscow: The Pharmaceutical Company PULSE entered into a long-term lease contract for 31.700 sq.m in the Warehouse Complex Leningradsky Terminal. S.A. Ricci Company acted as consultants on the deal.
The Pharmaceutical Company PULSE, established in 1996, is one of the leading suppliers of pharmaceutical drugs and medical products in Russia. The range of products of FC PULSE encompasses more than 8,000 line items purchased from leading Russian and foreign manufacturers. The company has more than 25 branches and representative offices throughout Russia.
Gleb Belavin, Deputy Director General of Tenants Relations at MLP MC, commented on this deal: ‘This was the largest deal with a pharmaceutical company in the warehouse property market of Russia in 2015. For MLP Management Company, it was the second deal concluded this year with a company working in the pharmaceutical market. In June 2015, MLP signed a long-term lease contract with the pharmaceutical company IRWIN-2 that leased 10,000 sq.m in the Warehouse Complex Podolsk. Thanks to these two deals, the pharmaceutical segment in the structure of tenants of MLP Management Company increased by two-hundred and fifty percent.
“Among the large selection of warehouses in the North-West part of Moscow Region (about 400,000 sq.m), there are a few that stand out.” There is no doubt that the Warehouse Complex Leningradsky Terminal is one of them as it is the only large warehousing complex located close to Moscow Ring Road, which has an established management and operations structure, and, very importantly, ready now to receive new clients, Dmitry Gerastovsky, Director of the Department of Warehouse and Industrial Real Estate at S.A. Ricci, comments on the deal. “The proximity of the warehouse to Moscow Ring Road was a critical factor in PULSE’s choice. It is important that MLP MC offered the volume required to expand PULSE’s space, which the pharmaceutical company could not get at the previous place of lease. The fact that MLP Management Company pursues a competent commercial policy, taking into account both the current and future market situation was significant as well”.
