LENTA RENTS 15,000 SQ. M. WAREHOUSE SPACE IN THE CHEKHOV WAREHOUSE COMPLEX

The MLP Management Company announced a new lease agreement with LENTA, the largest network of hypermarkets in Russia, in the Chekhov warehouse complex.

The company, which operates a family of distribution centers, leased 15,066 sq. m. in the Chekhov warehouse complex in the Moscow region.

THE CHEKHOV WAREHOUSE COMPLEX is a large Grade-A logistics facility in the south of Moscow Region; its total storage area is 337,000 sq. m. The Chekhov warehouse complex is located along federal route M2 (Simferopolskoe highway), 49 km from the Moscow Ring Road, and 20 km from route A107. Among the tenants of the Chekhov warehouse complex are: Eldorado, M.Video, X5 Retail Group, Moneks Trading, Uhrenholt, Eksmo Publishing House, and Alidi. The site is managed by the domestic market’s leader in warehouse real estate: MLP Management Company. Cushman is the broker.

“We are pleased that another leader of the retail market, LENTA, has joined the tenants of the Chekhov warehouse complex. As a result of this deal, the percentage of retailers among the tenants at the Chekhov warehouse complex has reached 85%. In addition, this transaction once more confirms a trend in recent years: the main consumers of high-quality warehouse real estate are large federal networks,” commented Ilya Pronichkin, the Head of Tenant Relations Department for MLP.

“This additional site in the Chekhov district of the Moscow region is intended to supply regional shopping complexes, taking into account new store openings. And, thanks to the coordinated actions of teams from both sides, we were able to begin storage operations in a short time (which is doubly pleasant),” said Dmitry Kalinin, the Project Manager in LENTA’s Supply Chain Development Department.
