German Industrial Concern Adidas Leased 7,500 sq.m. in Chaika Warehouse Complex in Ukraine

MLP Management Company announced a new lease with the German industrial company Adidas for warehouse space in the Chaika Warehouse Complex.

The company, which is the largest producer of sporting goods in Europe and the second largest in the world, rented 7,500 sq. m. in the Chaika Warehouse Complex in Ukraine. The lease is for ten years.

"This transaction is a landmark for us as a management company. Thanks to this deal, the vacancy rate at Chaika Warehouse Complex returned to a pre-crisis level of 2.5%. Currently, of the warehouse complex's total 114,500 sq. m. area, around 3,000 sq.m. are vacant. Moreover, by the end of August, this area will be occupied by one of the warehouse complex's current tenants. By September 1, Chaika will be at 100% capacity," reported Gleb Belavin, Deputy Director General of Tenant Relations for MLP.

Chaika, a grade-A modern logistics complex, is the largest grade-A warehouse facility in Ukraine. It has an area of 114,500 sq. m. The facility is located five kilometers from the Kiev Ring Road, near the country's main transport corridor (Kiev – Zhitomir – Lviv), the federal highway M-06. Chaika's current tenants include companies such as Kuehne+Nagel, Sportmaster, Askona, MTI, IDS Aqua Service, PARFUMS.UA, and others. The complex is managed by MLP, the leader of Russia's warehouse real estate market.
