Ozon.ru rented 3,500 sq.m. in the Leningradskiy Terminal Warehouse Complex

The major Internet retail-company Ozon.ru signed a contract with the management company MLP to lease 3,500 sq.m. of grade-A storage space in the Leningradskiy Terminal Warehouse Complex, located in the north-west of the Moscow region.

The international consulting company Knight Frank was the broker for the deal, representing the landlord.

The Leningradskiy Terminal Warehouse Complex (GLA-198,000 sq. m) is one of the largest grade-A warehouses in the north-west part of the Moscow region.
The facilities are located directly on Leningradskoe highway (M-10), 13 km from the Moscow Ring Road, and 17 km from the A-107 highway (Moscow Small Ring Road). The warehouse is five km from Sheremetyevo International Airport. Some of the complex's tenants include Volvo, Stockmann, Caterpillar, the pharmaceutical company Pulse, the Sladkaya Skazka Group, as well as a number of logistic operators such as Itella, GLP, and 20A.

Konstantin Fomichenko, the Director of Key Accounts for the Department of Warehouse and Industrial Property Management for Knight Frank said:
"The Warehouse is in an excellent location—the highway is a major transport corridor connecting Moscow to St. Petersburg and Europe. MLP's flexibility in the negotiations made it possible to accomodate relatively difficult demands from Ozon.ru as regards the flow of cargo."

Gleb Belavin, the Deputy Director General of Tenant Relations for MLP, commented on this deal: "We are pleased that OZON, one of the leading
e-commerce companies in Russia, has selected our warehouse complex, Leningradskiy Terminal, to implement its pilot project for cross-docking cargo in the Moscow region. This once again confirms the quality of this storage asset. It should be noted that OZON is prepared to expand its warehouse space at Leningradskiy Terminal Warehouse Complex by almost three times by the end of this year."
